Since the 1950’s the cartoons of artist Ken Maynard 1928-1998 have entertained millions of Australians. Published weekly in the Australasian Post for more than 40 years, a week without a chuckle over the antics of the Ettamogah Mob would be unthinkable.
Struth the cockatoo, is a big favourite. He wears boots because the iron roof is too hot for 
his feet.
The truck will always be on the roof of the fictitious pub as it was washed there in the 1946 floods and it’s doubtful the Mob will ever bother to get it down.
